Hollow Knight is the best Dark Souls game not made by From Software.

It honestly reminds me of why I love the more Metroid side of Metroidvanias.

Imo there’s just something about picking apart dead civilizations to find power ups, and this game has a nice pathos to it.

I really like how in Hollow Knight, similar to Metroid, new movement abilities just burst open the map. And the map in Hollow Knight is fucking huge. How far in are you?
