@Goblin_Slayer_Floki did you ever play tw warhammer and if so how were the hero units?

I mean the hero's based on faction were ok. They added fluff and fit the game via magic and special abilities. But the heroes in it were as good as units. Granted I didnt like that they took a full unit's slot personally.

Cause with most factions armies were better off with one warrior and one mage hero

So that left 18 slots for army

I'm asking cuz I never played a tw with the hero units

I mean like I said with mages it works in my mind. But they could have also worked them into units just as well, or allowed attaching/detaching mechanics.

However with TW TK it would be different all together. Since they are all warrior type.

But overall it was a mix bag. It balanced "ok" in actual battle, but broke the auto resolve and troop number comp.

Since the auto resolve wasnt corrected with the heros.

Auto resolve should be as punishing as possible tbh

In rome 2 you could autoresolve everything with rorari

Shogun 2. Ashigaru were OP

You could conquer alot with just peasants the elite samurai wasnt that of a improvement
