Hhmmm no

2019-04-05 13:26:53 UTC

morality and politics are probably subjective by definition

2019-04-05 13:27:03 UTC

And even if there is an objective right or wrong you will never convince everyone you're the one that knows the right answer

2019-04-05 13:33:46 UTC

Yeah..... except we found objective morality and lived by it in Europe for about 3000 years.

2019-04-05 13:36:37 UTC

There's no such thing as objective morality @Fitzydog

2019-04-05 13:36:53 UTC

It's just that we have a pretty good system rn

2019-04-05 13:55:30 UTC

🤔

2019-04-05 13:55:40 UTC

@Fitzydog I'm sorry I don't see what you mean

2019-04-05 13:56:39 UTC

I don't think there's a bit of morality that went unchanged in 3000 years of European history

2019-04-05 14:19:25 UTC

He's just one of those that refuses to believe that there is no fundamentally 'correct' set of morals. You'd need a god for that, after all.

2019-04-05 14:19:47 UTC

Our system works better and most people don't hate it.

2019-04-05 17:07:09 UTC

I'd start by stopping the state funded education for crap like toxic masculinity @Fitzydog

I'd also argue that the Gillette ad lost them money from the backlash they got

2019-04-05 17:26:17 UTC

where i factored them getting the most out of it was the next 10 years instead of the immediate, don't know what their calculators thought

2019-04-05 19:24:57 UTC

Someone pinged me, but I'm too lazy to scroll up.

```Postreactionary DecentralizationToday at 1:56 PM
@Coffee @Undead Mockingbird
Then explain the Gillette ad about toxic masculinity.
```

The media, and the academy are the 'free market', yet they have magnitudes more clout in determining the direction society moves in than the govt does.

I think neither should be determining the direction society heads in, only communities should

But currently, govts prevent local communities from having any actual say in how much power The Academy has over them.

2019-04-06 17:02:46 UTC

2019-04-06 17:21:47 UTC

@Capitán Alatriste he's saying that Egyptians arentn white but he's either implying that they're Semitic and thus aren't white or they WUZ KANGZ N SHIEET

2019-04-06 17:33:30 UTC

2019-04-06 17:43:16 UTC

But I mean you can go much further back if you dont care how primitive a measure of time it is.
