yes it is impossible to feed 20 million people for free <:kek:590371888480387073>
It's actually impossible to feed 1 person for free
well gulags had the pleasure of that you was not guarantied food unless you had worked until your hands was bleeding that day
and even then it was not a guaranty they did feed you. and a lot of gulags was slave farms
but they don't pay rent. It's free
duh
so you get to live rent free in exchange for hard labour for +16H each day. Sign me up
Welcome to Zero Hours contracts
which aren't socialistism
They are Captialist as fuck
<:high_iq:382980759012638731>
Zero Hours contracts weremn't invented when I was a manager back in ASDA when I was 20
but that would have been my literal wet dream
I'd never of actually written this myself
1hr a month <:kek:590371888480387073>
yea that is the legal minimum
The idea that if you fuck up I don't have to fire you, I can just not give you any hours all week
It's sadistic AF
give the idiot a false hope of that he is not fucked
At the time I was talking 16hr minimum contracts
cus I can give dumbass 16 hrs and I can give the good workers 120
and I'm still paying them the same
per hour
but no they go FULL YOLO and do Zero Hour contracts
what companies loves to use here is temp contracts. so you are legally only hired for 30 days and then you have to sign a new contract for next 30 days or for what ever they feel like at that time.
All this comes out of how hard it is to fire someone
depends on how you look at it, it can be easy / hard to fire someone here. if you want a person gone just give him 3 written warnings for underperforming or not following rules
When I ran a Pizza Place I didn't have a contract
and respectfully my boss never threw that in my face but he did to others.
SO when I needed something and he refused, I quit on the spot
and told him a contract is a binding agreement between two people <:kek:590371888480387073>
if you work for someone without a contract and the other party complains when shit happens it their own fault. contracts can be annoying but it clarifies what is expected between two people
I had 10k in the bank and he wouldn't put his best workers on contract
I told him to "stuff it"
his loss
oh yes, it was the week before Christmas
