Norway on board
The Danes too
Buying stuff is not the problem IMO, there will be new tariffs but other countries will still want to sell to the UK
But how is the UK going to get the foreign currencies to pay for everything
Get rid of the Financial Economy
the big gay banks that just move money around
in London
and create faggots
they was smart not to get in on the Euro so they still have Pound sterling and sure it will take a hit but that can be an advantage as it will it easier to sell heavy industry items on the global market
Staying out of the Euro was super smartie pants
I was bit young then
The euro is probably the worst functioning part of the EU right now
People complain about immigration but most of the UK immigration was from commonwealth countries
it is the thing that will brake them.
And the EU is actually investing money in Frontex now
I saw the Euro kill Greece <:sad:382980750347206666>
and spain is next on the choping block and Italy is not far behind if the EU get it will
I highly recommend Yanis Varoufakis' book on the Eurocrisis if you're interested in the continental economy
I'm a big fan
It's not perfect but it's a really good discription of how the deficit countries have just completely surrendered control of their finances to the Eurogroup and Germany in particular
tho he is Marxist
I'm in good company here then π
He's an interesting fellow
`People complain about immigration but most of the UK immigration was from commonwealth countries`
that may be true, but you also had merkel and co throwing the gates open to potentially unlimited third world immigration
no telling where this would end up
Merkel's statement was meant for one particular group of immigrants in Hungary IIRC
She didn't literally invite the entire world in
And most of these people already wanted to come to Europe anyway, they didn't need the German chancellor to invite them
who wouldn't want to lol
what you do is the important part and Merkle did let in all of africa and middle east no questions asked
the problem with saying they wanted to come anyway, is that inviting them in and being accepting will encourage others who want to to take the step
of which there are doubtless no shortage
Merkel doesn't control the migration policy of any country but Germany, the most she did after the supposed "invitation" was argue for migrant redistribution among member states IIRC
Which to be fair was a really bad idea because all the migrants want to be in the Western countries anyway
Germany is the EU
EU control all the other "countries"
and a lot of the eastern EU nations are not in a position to take on a huge mass of poor immigrants when they cant even house and feed their own poor people
@Amir The way the EU and member countries share power is very complex, there's no EU conspiracy that tells everyone what to do. The place where Germany has the most power is in dictating the financial policies of deficit countries. Even though member countries have to abide by EU legislation, national governments can also veto a lot of that legislation in the European Council
Meaning that if even one country out of 28 vetoes it the new law doesn't pass
Most of the "politicians" that can veto shit are all traitors who have sold their own countries
