He's basically gonna be Bernie 2.0. He will be popular but not get the nomination. It will be Biden v Trump more than likely. And 20% of the Bernie backers already polled and declared if not Bernie they will go Trump.
plus, if we're talking about rich people leaving the USA, we're talking about people giving up constitutionally guaranteed rights as well which nearly none of the other anglosphere countries have
the only reason they continue to get away with the tax dodging with international loopholes like that is because politicians are in their pocket and don't do anything about it
@Tero indeed. It's quite infuriating really. The rich have long exploited the poor for their private wealth and benefit, and when it comes to paying up they never do.
Or you can Lowe taxes. That makes economic activity in your nation more profitable. Which means more of it will occur. And you of course tax that at the new lower rate. A smaller slice of a bigger pie. Why often enough even people in other countries are incentivized to do business in yours and become part of your tax base.
