@MountainMan Basically, it made it LAW to buy insurance from insurance companies, and insurance companies could not deny service.

So because insurance companies couldn't discriminate based on health, they increased prices for everyone to compensate

Im not saying that systems here are perfect, but if its mandatory it needs to be appropriately prized, either through subvention or the state running its own insurance "company"
