So are these unions mandatory by the state? Or is it just so ubiquitous that every job is in it?

2019-05-28 08:17:00 UTC

Nope! Not mandatory.

2019-05-28 08:17:08 UTC

See, that's good

2019-05-28 08:17:12 UTC

Many sectos don’t actually have unions

2019-05-28 08:17:17 UTC

Like those that fix cars

2019-05-28 08:17:23 UTC

2019-05-28 08:17:31 UTC

2019-05-28 08:17:42 UTC

Yes. They for example don’t have an union.

2019-05-28 08:18:09 UTC

huh interesting. Makes sense

2019-05-28 08:19:02 UTC

Swedish working system is a bit unique compared to many other places. You don’t have to make tje relationship about worker and boss when it comes to pay. In a lot of sectors it can just be about the unions sp both you and the boss save time

2019-05-28 08:19:53 UTC

Hmm.... idk, I still don't like unions for exactly that reason

2019-05-28 08:20:11 UTC

it breeds complacency and nepotism

2019-05-28 08:20:38 UTC

Probably. But I prefer this system to anything else that I know.

2019-05-28 08:20:57 UTC

I have a safe working place, I get a steady income, and in return I work my ass off.

@Fitzydog `All this happened under the eyes of the unions, which in any case obtained an annual fee for each sailor embarked (from 190 to 270 euros) from the shipowners, regardless of their nationality and union membership. A hustler to buy the silence of Cgil, Cisl and Uil. It should be remembered that foreigners can only be hired after the unions have signed an exemption attesting to the lack of available Italian personnel. But it seems that this certification is granted by the associations: under payment .`

No wonder they want so much immigration

2019-05-28 08:47:30 UTC

```On ferries and cruise ships, employees can also work 16-17 hours a day in exchange for starvation salaries of less than 1,000 euros ". To make the monthly wage of sea wolves less lean would be, they get indemnities that are paid in the salary upfront and make it possible to respect the minimum wage indicated by the ILO, a UN agency.
But why would the unions accept this system, which transforms the sailors "into the new slaves of the third millennium?"```
2019-05-28 08:49:31 UTC
```In the past the trade unionist, papers in hand, has identified the existence of two "ghost" current accounts on which, in his opinion, "black money" would have passed.

You can see how many interests would go to hell with the "Italians' first" principle, and why so much media hostility.```

The state can determine what is medically your best decision if you lose the ability to communicate your wishes.

2019-05-28 12:30:35 UTC

This happens usually when people are in comas, family usually speaks for them.

2019-05-28 12:31:45 UTC
