Is taking issue with x being called a mental illness, an offensive remark about mental illness?

2019-06-02 20:42:23 UTC

Could probably trip up some progressives with that

@Goblin_Slayer_Floki Did say Tommy's role not membership, he was just an advisor which to be honest was a stupid move.

2019-06-02 20:57:32 UTC

He's not wrong, even if he is a demonstrable fucking bellend.

London is a beacon of hope for the Islamises. it says even the greasiest of western cities can be conquered by them easy

2019-06-02 21:01:35 UTC

you don't need to conquer a place that greets you with open arms

2019-06-02 21:06:39 UTC

No but you do need to make an example of any one that opposes you.

2019-06-02 21:08:38 UTC

The bit that amuses me is that "London stands out as a beacon."

2019-06-02 21:08:50 UTC

It's a generic city

2019-06-02 21:09:38 UTC

The only unique things left about it are landmarks, and those are from the history of power Khan doesn't like.

2019-06-02 21:10:46 UTC

Also... history mostly teaches us of the danger of DARING to speak truth to power, not of being afraid of it.

2019-06-02 21:14:17 UTC

one of the most powerful people in Britain taking about how brave he is to "speak truth to power" <:thronk:441701565607444482>

2019-06-02 21:14:45 UTC

Meh, Saddam had chemicals...I ran into them personally. The issue is thanks to the MSM, everyone focused on Nuclear when they hear WMDs and Iraq, which was never part of the claim.

2019-06-02 21:34:45 UTC

a lot of the Iraq problems was that they did trust a guy that was thrown out of the iraq army for lying to much. he was a known liar for everyone. and to no ones suprice it did turn out he was full of shit

2019-06-02 21:38:46 UTC

who'd a thought.

2019-06-02 21:39:02 UTC

Eh. Iraq was a mixture. Saddam had begun to abandon secularism because his army was in shambles and radical islamists were gaining ground in his territories. This lead him to saying moronic things about (and to in the case of some threats) america and the west, when we were already in a war with people saying similar things. As well, he was being a nuesence to the UN and US inspectors, and not following the agreements laid out.

But yes, he did have Chemical weapons...Much to the dismay of many.

2019-06-02 21:40:38 UTC

The issue is the MSM kept spinning that WMDs ONLY meant Nuclear weapons...when no one governmentally claimed they had nuclear. Even when the US approached the UN on it, the only claim was chemical.

2019-06-02 21:44:45 UTC

To be honest, I wouldn't doubt all of his actions in the end...were an attempt of escape from his situation. And he probably believed he would be kept captive for life or somesuch.

@Goblin_Slayer_Floki Well we knew Saddam had chemical weapons way back in the 80s.

It was Netanyahu that specifically said he had nukes, and that was the narrative that was repeated

2019-06-02 22:10:52 UTC

Not by the US gov. Nor was it a part of the hearing by Powell in the UN. The reasoning was the threats and the fact he had serine gas when he was supposed to have disposed of it, along with his resistance to inspectors.

2019-06-02 22:12:06 UTC

That narrative was mostly MSM and I guess Netanyaho. The issue is it became the only thing synonymous with "WMDs" in the uninformed mind.

2019-06-02 22:13:02 UTC

But the consent of the populace was granted by this bait and switch.

Nukes = threat to US
Chemical weapons = another third world asshole
