Side note. Apparently Milo is pro deplatforming Crowder?
Hmm idk...
I distinctly remember as a kid being told that Iraq has nukes, and gathering as much from the news
"Why are we in Iraq?"
"Well, they have WMDs that could destroy us."
"or our allies" another part ignorant people ignored
Yeah, that too
Where's that screengrab from? Islamabad?
London <:pepe_smug:560207654207750154>
"£5"
pound sign
"Who is the greatest threat to your national security?"
What is that flag
In America
And Canada
So everyone sees us as their enemy? Lovely.
Notice how they are mostly our allies, too.
Yeah I wonder why
The CIA and nsa spy on every fucking thing
Yeah? Everyone spies on us too lol
Your government in particular fucks with us way more than is okay.
But yeah if espionage were a good reason to view an ally as a threat, UK would have been invaded by us long ago. Look at fucking Steele.
You guys basically instigated a coup against the POTUS.
@Fitzydog `An overwhelming majority of people aren't autistic enough to go to their library and dig up archives of current events in order to fact check the nightly news
`
definitely seconding this
most said public records weren't a google search away then either
The author is seems to be likely on the payroll of the Cartels
incidentally, i think weapons of mass destruction is a fairly vague and misleading term
as an example i think technically the pressure cooker bomb used in that marathon bombing counted as one in that state
also pretty sure there were concerns about iraq having a nuclear weapons program
and that this was at least partially some of the justification for invading
also even if you were using WMDs to just refer to chemical weapons, they still had none so the media was right to shit on the bush admin for using that as justification @Goblin_Slayer_Floki
the whole war was a farce lmao
```The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa. Our intelligence sources tell us that he has attempted to purchase high-strength aluminum tubes suitable for nuclear weapons production. Saddam Hussein has not credibly explained these activities. He clearly has much to hide.
```
bush's 2003 state of the union speech @Goblin_Slayer_Floki
i just woke up tho
the speech actually accuses iraq of the full gamut of WMDs; chemical biological and nuclear
k
