Education can only go so far and welfare programs can be easily abused/misused. After all, while welfare isn't that much, it is for free and thus has the benefit for some that work isn't required. Welfare prevents the learning of responsibility since it never makes it necessary.

Private organizations > public ones. If a private charity fucks up you can always stop donating and donate to another (or start your own charity). If a public one does you have no other options
