Wait So you're for private police?
don't you have like 3 police forces?
or more
Local, state and federal
All of which don't earn their money?
Private courts <:think_woke:378717098681171988>
And have jurisdictions that they monopolize over
@GeorgyBoyo We already have private courts
Private police forces wouldn't be the problem, it would be differing law systems
A police force is a public good, it's not meant to reap profits, it's meant to look out for the public.
Fun fact: most contract disputes are handled by private courts.
We already do this.
@Capitán Alatriste And yet they fail
But they have a monopoly on "looking out for the public"
they don't
Lol okay
in the US they do. <:pepe_smug:560207654207750154> @Capitán Alatriste
Looking out for the public is what the state is for
When seconds count, the police are minutes away
tfw when police dosent need by law to protect you in the US
oh yeah, well when the local sheriff's diet is based on donuts and can't run 5 meters without getting a heart attack, then yeah perhaps your police is shit...
Why pay for what you don't need?
but that's why US police have guns, so they don't have to run <:kek:590371888480387073>
Jesus you are retarded
yes
What.
sounds like a community nightwatch ngl @Fitzydog
and those are already a thing
@MountainMan Your community night watch is a service fee that pays for a guard to drive around your neighborhood?
Who watches the watchmen <:makes_you_think:382980749780844554>
no fee. its just a community watch.
@GeorgyBoyoI do. And so does the private Arbitration that will cancel the contract and fire his ass
and otherwise we do have private security like Securitas and yadda yadda
If only that could be applied to the police when they fuck up
@MountainMan Sure, but I'm saying replace the police with Securitas+many other competing agencies.
If they fail to do their job, they get to lose the contract.
I wouldnt be comfortable with that as I think the police are needed to uphold the court @Fitzydog
One of the exemples in that episode, the guy was only charged with resisting arrest <:think_hang:378717098903470080>
I dont want multiple law systems in the same place you know
Ours don't do that here
Oh?
The police come and are the ones to take the people to the jail after the security company subdues the person
