I wish more of the anglo countries took responsibility for their own military protection a bit more.

American military hegemony is the only thing holding the west together at the end of the day.

Yeah. Sweden isnt the greatest military strenght. We’re all too small to even compare to the super nations, and even if we would invest more, it wouldnt compare.

Yes but it would take some weight off the shoulders of America and if groups of nations did it, whole regions would become better, safer places.

But it’s never bad to not try. We can at least contribute to some way. We need to invest more money into the military and bring back the draft for everyone. (Is that what you call it in english?)

It's an idea. I haven't thought about how that would affect a country like in scandinavia.

I’m not sure if they’ve ever needed to force people tho

I think the military tries to invite around 4-8 K people every year
