Pretty much every big company in China is CCP. Do you know how TenCent got big? They violated international finance law and the CCP kept competing payment processors out of the country until they could achieve market dominance. They lost in court, paid the fine, and kept doing it anyway. The odds of Huawei not using any network they have to compromise security and steal technology and intelligence from any client they have are essentially zero.

Nah it's kinda shit. Japs did the same sort of thing twenty years ago with their Zaibatsu structure. It is a net loss for a temporary gain. You just have to be aware and proactive about it. I mean functionally we could decapitate their economy if we wanted to. The tricky part is negotiating that territory without crippling them. Because doing so would have too many negative side effects.

The issue I have with peeps pushing 5g, is 1) hasn't been tested well. There is even word it blocks weather devices. 2) most of the us doesnt even have 4g yet, they are running off 3g plus or lower.

It seems we should master 4g before running to the next thin. It kinda makes us the dominos of the phone world. Not perfecting the pizza before going for chicken and sandwiches.
