They're recounting the whole Kavanaugh affair for their South African listeners, and they're citing Albert Camus's *The Outsider* and William Faulkner's *To Kill a Mockingbird* as defenses of his character. For as woke as a lot of the Boers are, there are definitely some memos that they have yet to receive, such as the fact that Camus was a communist who was friends with, maintained a lively correspondence with, and helped to fund the guerilla campaigns of "Che" Guevara, and that the latter novel was written by a Southern White ethnomasochist, and was eagerly embraced by *certain other elements* as an instrument by which to morally delegitimize Southern Whites even more than had already been done...
