Afraid to take a principled stand, because of repercussions from the top, or from the voters.
Tow the party line, don't think for yourself.
They have pronciples, it is called money
Why would Conservative voters be unhappy with standing up for free speech though?
I think they'd gain more support then they would lose
I'm certain they're concerned about the image of this case. It involves things they're afraid of the media spinning against them.
Conservatives defend anti-semitism DUN DUN DUN
Pretty much.
Maybe should ask Corbyn for support instead.
Man I have to say UK politicians have got some balls
and not in a good way
don't know of many politicians who would threaten their own voters
He probably supports the law in the first place.
They don't really have much to lose by doing though
Because they know someone who truly cares about such a thing won't vote for Corbyn
Maybe we should start throwing egg on their faces
I finished watching that video. This one comment sums the best part up, apart from Peterson's words:
>Fun fact: At 44:24, Dr. Craig pulls up a quote against Goldstein from Steven Pinker, GOLDSTEIN'S (the atheist woman's) husband.
>Geez, Craig is next level savage. Deja vu of Dr. Peterson and Newman's "Ha.Gotcha!" moment. Bonus: Her reaction to this at 45:20 is gold.
The sheer gaul to in the same statement defend free speech then defend hate speech laws and say that you have to support him because of Corbyn
They have no shame.
That's the sad part.
What was the video you were referring btw
Thanks
I actually would love to see Peterson and Craig debate; at least they could go deeper into the subjects.
I'm currently in bumfuk egypt
Some hick town in southern VA
Taking my uncle to court
What did he do?
Do you mean you are in a legal battle with your uncle or you are driving him to court? lol
He didn't actually do anything but he's being charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor
That sounds quite vague.
Is there any proof or are just blasting hot air hoping he will confess
I'm driving him
From what I'm told he didn't do anything wrong they're just looking for someone to blame
He was at a party where a bunch of underage kids got hurt in a wreck after drinking
So he has to mantain his innocence and not budge
Yea problem is he's the only adult they actually found and he has multiple prior felonies
So good chance they'll pin it all on him even though there are two people here to testify he didn't give anyone alcohol
Either way I had to get up at the crack of dawn and drive 160 kilometers
How did you end up in Egypt?
No its the name of the town
