everyone knows how bad alcohol and tobacco is

2018-03-24 07:48:41 UTC

It went from the bad sides overplayed or made up

2018-03-24 07:48:44 UTC

to the downsides being downplayed

2018-03-24 07:48:49 UTC

alcohol did nothing wrong

2018-03-24 07:48:56 UTC

But a lot of the downsides are very person to person

2018-03-24 07:49:01 UTC

Say you have an anxiety disorder

2018-03-24 07:49:10 UTC

Yeah, it's very personal

2018-03-24 07:49:11 UTC

Weed can either dramatically help it or utterly ruin you

2018-03-24 07:49:39 UTC

weed gives me existential dread

2018-03-24 07:49:41 UTC

I only took it once and had a panic attack and couldn't speak for like 5 hours.

2018-03-24 07:49:53 UTC

Like full on hallucinating that everyone could hear my thoughts

2018-03-24 07:50:11 UTC

That happened to my friend when I tried to introduce it to her

2018-03-24 07:50:16 UTC

Her boyfriend was not happy with me lol

2018-03-24 07:50:23 UTC

weed just makes you want to keep smoking weed. I went on a long camping trip once and picked up some weed half way through, and did nothing but lay around and smoke. and after it was gone, i just kept thinking about how much i wanted some more weed. It put a damper on that part of the trip

2018-03-24 07:50:25 UTC

Other people are perfectly fine and actually get better wth it

2018-03-24 07:50:37 UTC

Well it does feel pretty good for a lot of people

2018-03-24 07:50:48 UTC

It's not technically addicting but as with anything that feels good, you want more of it

2018-03-24 07:51:02 UTC

(technically addicting in the physical dependency sense)

2018-03-24 07:51:02 UTC

yeah

2018-03-24 07:51:19 UTC

There isn't really a strong withdrawal

2018-03-24 07:51:23 UTC

caffeine has a stronger withdrawal

2018-03-24 07:51:34 UTC

```weed just makes you want to keep smoking weed. I went on a long camping trip once and picked up some weed half way through, and did nothing but lay around and smoke. and after it was gone, i just kept thinking about how much i wanted some more weed. It put a damper on that part of the trip```That depends too. After I recovered, I don't feel that at all anymore. Whenever I get high on occasion now, I'm totally satisfied with being completely sober for the next few days.
2018-03-24 07:51:36 UTC
its mental
2018-03-24 07:51:39 UTC
It can also cause things like nerve disorders and bring on mental health issues like schizophrenia faster though. As well as lung problems, heart problems, etc. I have been diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat because of the constant smoking because it raises your heartrate so dramatically and so high, then it drops, then you raise it back up again, repeat. Especially with the amount I smoked at the time.
2018-03-24 07:51:45 UTC
Also if you're under like 20 you pprobably shouldn't mess with it
2018-03-24 07:51:52 UTC
Well, a caveat there
2018-03-24 07:51:55 UTC
If you have schizophrenia
2018-03-24 07:52:02 UTC
I first smoked weed at 18
2018-03-24 07:52:03 UTC
a drug trip can trigger it
2018-03-24 07:52:19 UTC
so if you're undiagnosed you can have your first episode when you smoke weed
2018-03-24 07:52:22 UTC
I had the opportunity to do it earlier, just never did
2018-03-24 07:52:24 UTC
I started at like 17
2018-03-24 07:52:46 UTC
Didn't become a daily thing for me though until like last year
2018-03-24 07:52:49 UTC
@obrallaghan yeah, nowadays if i smoke it feels like when Frodo puts on the ring and everything gets dark and scary. fuck that shit
2018-03-24 07:52:49 UTC
I know a girl who got *fucking destroyed* when she took some drug(I want to say LSD, but it might have been heroin)
2018-03-24 07:52:58 UTC
She already had the disorder but it finally got triggered for the first time
2018-03-24 07:53:01 UTC
and hit her like a train
2018-03-24 07:53:30 UTC
I've definitely had a few totally batshit deathly weed highs
2018-03-24 07:53:33 UTC
Got schizoid personality disorder, dissociative personality disorder(changes names like every 3 months)
2018-03-24 07:53:42 UTC
Only recently(like 4 years after it started) has gotten better.
