Ok they ruined HP for me
There so many other books with better themes for this kind of comparissions
uh oh
they're devolving
arming teachers is actually a good debate
I would but it's still a debate
the problem would be making the teachers feel obligated to do so
I've never read or watched Harry Potter
as much as its a "good idea" youd have to get the teachers to unanimously agree
Out of all teachers I have ever met
if a handful dont want to do it in select areas
30% of them I wouldn't trust to have a weapon around students
And 100% of them I wouldn't trust to be able to shoot in a straight line
and even then that
would you feel any safer if teachers had guns
not really no
I would never force a teacher to carry
but if I was teacher I would
teacher would just be the first to get shot and suddenly the school shooter has dual wield
like I said it's a good debate
yeah, and youd be taking away from their already stretched teaching duties to ensure they were trained to actually use it
Trump logic: let's cut their budgets but spend money on arming them
oof
^
the added expense of doing it could be outweighed by the insurance savings
insurance savings <:GWcfcThonk:357907199928041473>
on arming teachers <:GWcfcThonk:357907199928041473>
well if you could verify a path of knowledge and training with it
yes
well you save on extra money you spend that's still extra money you spend <:GWcfcThonk:357907199928041473>
a driving instructor would get their personal insurance cheaper than most others as they would be more knowledgable about the rules on the road
yeah, but infrastructure is all about spending now to save in the future
clear your minds
Off topic, but do you guys see any way to fix the insane political polarization that we experience now
no
without that
you gotta call out the bullshit immediately
well of course that
but outside of overthrowing government(s)
thats about it
