So..... I just spent the last hour trying to get emojis and unicode to work in windws 7.

All I accomplished was slightly changing the font and turning off Aero.

I found the font pack 'Noto' from google that is updated to the current unicode and emoji packs

At least that's how it works on the Unix world, with fontconfig. We usually have individual fonts for each language.

Splatoon 1 has two fonts: Paintball and some regular Sans font.

I wish they'd use the Sans font for all the verbose text.
