This verse is about a group of Makkan idolators who kept asking from a sign from their lord in haste and this verse is just simply saying to that specific group that the Qur’an itself is a sign from a Lord and a miracle, he did perform miracles in the Qur’an and our other traditions. Can I ask you do you believe the Old Testament and the New to be the unaltered word of God ?
