A 13,000 year swing in temperature is not that unusual
I try to consume less of what i need less
i refuse to not run all my computers 24 hours a day tho
Or we forceably stop shithole countries from industrializing
If you can’t poo in loo, no cars for you
It is actually quite rare all the time it has happened in the past there have been very large mass die off.
whats the argument against shithole countries industrializing? theyll do too much damage, to save money?
To say the change has happened in the past therefore is not a problem is naive to what is happening
Thing is, there are a lot of externalities that the both of us can't accurately look at
Not to mention the fear mongering about it for the last 20 years
if we cant filter misinformation we have no hope for real data
Have not had the same fear mongering here. Just facts and lived experances.
You know how many scientific experiemnts can't be recreated?
That has literally nothing to do with the correlation data
Wait
Why the fuck are there two lexicons
People could make up a lot of facts because they think theyre right and true, and then their facts can be right or wrong, and their *point* can be right or wrong, independently. Even if theres full truth in climate change is our fault, there can easily be numerous fake statistics made to illustrate the point in the past

It's more like 100-200 years. And even then that's not how the ocean works. There are places that are sinking now. But its all manageable.
