WINE for instance doesn't support anything newer than DX10, ironically opengl windows games don't work, and even then less than 1/3 of games run without issues

and from my experience with linux, i have never once installed linux without having to troubleshoot with the terminal. I've installed probably 10 different distros on 3 architectures and none of them have successfully installed, autodetected drivers, and reliably rebooted without issues. On the other hand, ive had none of these problems in the hundred plus times ive installed Win10

You should not run Chrome, because it is closed source and run by a data harvestor like Google.
