WINE for instance doesn't support anything newer than DX10, ironically opengl windows games don't work, and even then less than 1/3 of games run without issues

linux versions of games are almost universally inferior

it simply is, you cannot type sudo apt-get install chrome-browser faster than i can type "chrome" and hit search.
