I bought the redux edition of Grim Fandango because it looked good

indie devs should stop working closely with consumer feedback

having a small representative sample and a lot of wishlists from players who dont understand scope can hardly be helpful on a tight budget, much less the time spent combing through feedback

they need better playtesters and to have more conviction in their own decisions

the minute you ask someone for feedback they be like
"Well i like how in BioLands they have the hub, but its a spaceship and it lands on the planets you go to. I want that in every game."
