AIU gets it right about Eurovision.
However, I thinkthat the live performance of Israel was not good.
only 2 kinds of people care that israel won eurovision, the far right and the far left
People actually watch the Eurovision ?
Yeah, the Youtube stream was quite popular.
this was obvious pr eurovision is fake this is progressive wankery and should be ignored however *REEEEEEEEEEEEE JEWS IN MUH EUROPE TALENT SHOW*
the alt right are just as bad as progressives
ive about lost patience with /r/mde every day theres even more unironic nazi larpers
I watch eurovision
for the 5 or so decent or funny things
and to see the absolute worst entries get 1-3
pretty sure eurovision would be watched a lot more if they didn't rank things from best to worst backwards
lordi winning in 2006 is literally the only reason i even know what eurovision is
I liked the vikings.
eurovision is when all the activists come out of their hiding holes
doesn't matter if its a beard in a dress winning or the whole arena booing out the russian entry
Dont overestimate those activists, most of the public gives a shit.
for them, it is simply entertainment.
the problem is when this is literally the only ideology legally allowed in western europe
in almost every european country you can face legal trouble literally for holding specific opinions
I have to be carefull regarding Nazi regime. I never felt, that I cannot express myself (I am not a Nazi, tho).
But I agree with the American stance on free speech,
UK and canada are by far the worth but europe isn't free, not even close. they can't differentiate between being successful and being free. They have been lied to to believe that rights are any things that they want, like free shit from the state they feel entitled to, and not actual liberties
you would be amazed by how many people think that because they get 3 meals and a house with moderate luxuries for doing little or no work that that is what freedom is
European countries rank highest on living standards, and happiness. Socieal security is a big part of this.
and yet people are regularly arrested for holding certain opinions and don't even have the right to speak up.
europe is literally run by an organization dead-set on creating a technocratic superstate by their own admission
I know nobody that was arrested .
count dankula?
or the dozen countries with holocaust laws. imagine literally making questioning a narrative *illegal*.
Freedom is actually the United States number one export
I mean personally.
But UK is different.
you can unironically face prison time for ***words***, think about this. You are not free. your rights end wherever the state decides, not you, and there is nothing you can do to stop them
In Germany, which is the most agressive, you get fined at most.
And Germany is a big problem, they always were.
the fact that countries who call themselves free even have such a concept i find baffling
you get fed the state narrative from the state news and if you question it, you get socially excommunicated at best, thrown in prison at worst.
