It is fine for end user. I am talking about devs.
but it adds a lot of useless callbacks into the kernel
@M4Gunner wot ide do you use?
the problem with linux is that many people are unwilling to learn using it @Deleted User
well its not a problem with linux perse
There is a learning curve, thats right.
And if you are a gamer, you will not be happy, so you need dual boot, or you have an own gaming pc anyway.
but the city administration of Munich still cant use it after a decade.
VS colors are a fucking travesty
Have you insights on Limux?
So you’re not one of those “I code everything in vim” fags then @M4Gunner
I am friends with one of the devs who are supposed to maintain it
And not code like an autistic fuck?
I think, with enough money, you can create a nice Open Source solution for public officials .
So not vim?
@Deleted User I actually misspoke, I know one of the LiMux devs not munix
escape and :q my friends.
number one question on stakeoverflow 😃
that is not true
there is that type but they are not all like that
Now you have Docker and you fags need to learn how write a shell script.

@vapefruit The problem with Linux (from a Redhat 7.3 to modern Ubuntu user) is that Linux constantly breaks things that were working. It is a lot better than 10 years ago, but recently I was afraid to use apt-get ugrade on my machine because I knew something important would break for my dev setup. In the end I imagine the machine and decided to deal with the fallout
And know the basics of how a (L)Unix system works.
@EmEm are you Linux fan?
No
i suck at coding
i can do a blue webpage
But thats it
@Deleted User you get the same with windows 10 now
il just use windows as its ez
thats sad.
but you are a gamer and normal user, so I can understand it.
@vapefruit NOPE! I haven't had an application break in over 15 years mate as long as it was using the proper Windows APIs
@Deleted User that's great, I wish I could say the same.
@vapefruit also I've used other unix system like FreeBSD and OpenBSD which don't have massive regressions
My parents use also Windows.
