I think religious faith is about choosing to believe that things will ultimately turn out alright and that there is a meaning and purpose behind existence, as opposed to nothing mattering at all. the details don't matter that much, and people killing over religion i think goes against the whole point
I specified nazism because you can identify the person directly

@Deleted User Yeah, for me the closest thing I have to a "religious" belief is a reverence for the possibilities in the unknown
🤢
that's disgusting
@M4Gunner or like the french
mmm wakfu
the french make interesting cartoons
I choose to believe there is a great nazi god in the sky
@banestrum my nigga
Never even watched it
@M4Gunner search "wakfu"
yeah, I can understand that @banestrum
it's on netflix
its not bad
@Deleted User I'm a firm believer that we should make our own god. Not just dream one up, but make it a physical reality
it's better than cartoon network
French and japan are winning the cartoon war. And Japan and East Europe are winning the gaming market
yeah not into that, but keep dreaming @banestrum
@banestrum Humans are faulty. It would end wrong somehow
That's the fun part
half the bible talks about why you shouldn't do that
Aren't the gods we come up with reflections of ourselves?
Why not make the ultimate relfection?
Not all
Oh, I don't mean just doing idolatry
Most are reflections of nature and the unknown
did you make that? @M4Gunner
I mean making some singular entity that is representative of the entire human race
@Goblin_Slayer_Floki Tell that to the entire greek and roman pantheons
They were humanoid
And every other god that has a human emotion
but the embodyment of nature and other unknowns
Acts human, talks human, makes mistakes like humans
Um no. They do many other things. They look human simply because of it being easier to relate to them
Which makes it easier for humans to accept them.
