it's more the fact that the us electoral system is garbage and libertarians don't have any other option

2018-06-18 20:32:39 UTC

it would take a shit ton of effort for public opinion to change

2018-06-18 20:32:39 UTC

They need to be renamed to the UK Liberalist Party

2018-06-18 20:32:54 UTC

renaming a party is a bad idea

2018-06-18 20:33:02 UTC

UKLIP

2018-06-18 20:33:10 UTC

euclid

2018-06-18 20:33:11 UTC

2018-06-18 20:33:31 UTC

@Puma
It might happen

2018-06-18 20:33:54 UTC

Also, metocuck said something about it?

2018-06-18 20:34:01 UTC

Regarding Sargon @Fulcrum010 @Deleted User @DanielKO @M4Gunner @Ruggwain I dislike politicians. The nature of their job corrupts their honesty. When I see people I like trying to become politicians it worries me. For I fear that their honesty will also be corrupted by the nature of politics.

That's the last I will speak of my concerns.

2018-06-18 20:34:20 UTC

not getting corrupted by a political office is pretty much impossible

2018-06-18 20:34:29 UTC

^

2018-06-18 20:34:47 UTC

@franti
That's a good point, and i agree with it

2018-06-18 20:34:51 UTC

both because of power politics and the redistribution of the keys to power

2018-06-18 20:34:51 UTC

I started my own liberalist youtube channel today :D (well i made the first video today) :3

2018-06-18 20:34:54 UTC

Politics is something dirty

2018-06-18 20:35:05 UTC

And sargon might get dragged in this

2018-06-18 20:35:09 UTC

Sargon I think would make a good politician though with his raging hard on for power politics

2018-06-18 20:35:28 UTC

Both sargon and dank have said they dont want to be politicians but I think they might be needed

2018-06-18 20:35:32 UTC

the UK is a mess rn

2018-06-18 20:35:34 UTC

the thing with politics in a minority party is that IF you get enough of a voice to at least force a question or position into the public realm you make progress

2018-06-18 20:35:35 UTC

^^

2018-06-18 20:35:39 UTC

everyone's needed

2018-06-18 20:35:45 UTC

so its not a lost cause

2018-06-18 20:35:47 UTC

UKIP WAS a mess

2018-06-18 20:35:49 UTC

No longer

2018-06-18 20:36:06 UTC

Japan figured out that public servants need to be relocated periodically to reduce the risk of them corrupting their workplace. This should be more common.

2018-06-18 20:36:08 UTC

We've got a strong leader, a rise in membership, a new focus and attractive youth votes now

2018-06-18 20:36:35 UTC

in the public eye I would say UKIP is still seen as extreme

2018-06-18 20:36:37 UTC

I don't think relocating public servants is the best idea

2018-06-18 20:36:47 UTC

at least not for major politicians

2018-06-18 20:36:54 UTC

We're nothing close to extreme but the media portrays us as such

2018-06-18 20:36:56 UTC

hwho are also the one with the highest danger of becoming corrupt

2018-06-18 20:37:21 UTC

because they can't be moved away from the constituency they're supposed to represent

2018-06-18 20:37:29 UTC

Yeah the media shit on UKIP i think Nigel kinda made it that way

2018-06-18 20:37:30 UTC

and they lose all connection to the common man on the ground

2018-06-18 20:37:34 UTC

but he's gone now isnt he?

2018-06-18 20:37:47 UTC

Thinking of starting a "Liberalist (Insert Region Here)" account, should I do San Diego, SoCal, or California. More accurately, which is least likely to cause cancer

2018-06-18 20:37:54 UTC

He left leader after the brexit vote yes. He's our one of OUR MEP's now

2018-06-18 20:37:58 UTC

Sure, you can't relocate the president, or a senator. But if they have to deal with a "new staff" every couple of years, it's harder to get their loyalty to scheme illegal activity.
