@Fulcrum010 they already do that
They're probably just doing a study or collecting data to improve the algorithm
Not gonna affect youtube in anyway
it's all right

Hello canada
shivangi, you say that but every single time they do some algorithm thing, EVERYONE GET'S FUCKED
Inject a gallon of dmt
"We are running a small experiment where 0.3% of viewers will see an auto-generated channel, instead of your custom channel."
But they're *not*. What they've done in the past is apply their algorithm to different parts of youtube @malice936
But what they're doing now isn't gonna affect anything
"We are not removing the ability to create your custom channel, but we hope to gain insights on auto-generated channels for the future."
"oh we're going to improve our copyright detection algorithm" false DMCA and revenue claims out the ass on everyone, "oh we're going to work on our advertising algorithm" everyone starts getting demonetized, "oh we're going to work on our featured algorithm" nothing but mainstream media channels getting featured
Hey, I'm just speculating what they're gonna do with the data. But right now, all they're doing is collecting data.
No need to be worried
you're going to see really stupid shit happening, I will bet my ass on it
They already blacklist channels they don't like. LITERALLY ANYTHING is well within the realm of possibility
Remember leafy? His channel didn't die, it was murdered.
Not by idubbz
By YouTube
Who is leafy?
Guys, Guys, they're simply checking response rates to randomly generated thumbnails as opposed to custom ones
stop defending YouTube
@Deleted User ***HISSSSSSSSSS***
If I were to venture a guess, they are going to use the data to create ways of demonetizing/restricting videos based on their thumbnail
Idgaf what they claim
@malice936 They have that already lol
if people report it
not automatically
Try it, take a video of puppies, upload it with a gun in the thumbnail
instant demonitization
They have image recog software, they don't need to check response rates for it
yeah, but I'm talking more along the lines of thumbnails generated from the video
They have that too though....
That does not require response rate data between randomly generated thumbnails and custom thumbnails
most of the shit they "test out" ends up being implemented
But they aren't testing out anything...
I don't like youtube, I think the people who are working their are aidspigs. But if we are gonna be worried about mundane things like what they're doing now, no one with any credibility is gonna take us seriously.
By 'us' I mean people who complain about youtube
they said they are running an experiment, how is that not testing something out?
