Is he even captain of the guard then?
I thought he was Cadence's husband then
it's a good question I think he might be head of the crystal empire's defense force
maybe?
so he was probably too busy blowing his load in cadence to be bothered with advancing airships.
figuring that was someone else's job that day
based on some tiny quirks about equestira I'm convinced that it was once an imperialistic power
Well my theory is that ponies used to be a sort of a balkanised group
and mostly racially segregated.
I imagine Celly and Luna basically did a god emperor on everyone's ass
to play devils advocate a throw away line from shadow play might offer an explanation. they mentioned they sent the guard all over equestira looking for the pony of shadows and they basicly left the capital unguarded for the storm king to march in
pony of shadows?
the balkanization is fact at this point but celestia and luna were invited from some unseen pony empire ofscreen to be monarch also a canon fact
the villan of the season 7 finale
I don't remember this episode
I must have missed it
I thought season 7 finale was the one where Glimmer and Trixie go on a lesbian bug squashing adventure
that was the season 6 also discord was there
@Deleted User It's time to clean the floors.
there's a book called the journal of the two sisters that's canon and basicly describes the begining of celestia and luna's reign
I'd love to have a pre sisters series of MLP
that book was pretty enlightening about celestia and luna's story fun fact the play from the more recent episodes basicly confirms the book is canon
sort of their version of KOTOR
but again I imagine Celly and Luna probably had to do distasteful things in order to bring order to equestria
The god Emperor from warhammer was the same
but I believed his goal was a nobel one.
they didn't equestria was united before celestia and luna turned up. the period of expansionism I think happened afterwards was likely pretty brutal
so who ruled before them?
maybe it was more of an alliance or federation before then?
is that a comic book?
no it's a regular book I have a hard copy
I know hearth's warming eve was based on a story of the first time that all of the ponies showed some solidarity towards each other.
if I remember right the book starts a year or two after that happened
so it seems "equestria" formed rather quickly
why are you guys talking mlp in sargon fan server?
Because we're here and that's the direction the conversation has gone.
it sorta happened, also tangentialy related to politics
I mean talking about fictional geopolitics doesn't happen on sargon's channel?
@Deleted User does it really upset you that we're doing so?
