How do you guys deal with the reality of life at least in a material sense, that you and everyone you love will cease to exist eventually, that even though you are fine in this moment some day you won't be, something will eventually kill you, and that every time you step out your door it's literally a dice roll that someone could randomly blow you away at any moment etc? I used to motivate myself every morning to make art by telling myself first thing in the morning that eventually I will no longer be alive so I better seize the day, but for about 6 months or so, all that does is make me sad and anxious. I can't seem to find a way to deal with it other than to just not think about it.

I just think that in the grand scheme of things everything will be alright, and that existence is infinite so nothing ever really dies. It's better to create art and live life as an expression of joy rather than looking at it as a battle with time, you'll just make yourself miserable that way. @Uglypatch
