Well in any case this is fixable and more common than you think. Hell, I go to a therapist for this problem. The best way to get past it is to face it. I now it may sound difficult. You may get in your own head but something that helped me was focusing on the fact that I wanted to go out and have fun and meet girls (obviously that last bit is different but I'm guessing you catch my drift). My way of going about it was dating apps: Bumble and tinder for me. In short the best thing you can do to move forward is to take the first step, its uncomfortable at first but you'll get into it.
