My wife helped me narrow down that trigger, because yea anxiety was super high in the Mall, but the moment I caught a wiff of the incense near that shop, the trip was over.

That old man needs to take a chill pill.

2018-07-29 01:28:31 UTC

*29% of Americans are Nazis!!*

2018-07-29 01:31:46 UTC

Cancel Rick and Morty

2018-07-29 01:31:56 UTC

I'm assuming 29% is the number of Americans are republican party memberss right?

2018-07-29 01:32:08 UTC

No, much more

2018-07-29 01:32:09 UTC

Would be the greatest POL feat of our time

2018-07-29 01:33:45 UTC

Interestingly this article I just looked up put republicans at 26% and dems at 29%. That makes me chuckle a little bit. https://news.gallup.com/poll/188096/democratic-republican-identification-near-historical-lows.aspx

2018-07-29 01:34:23 UTC

oh, huh. Well, a lot of states don't have official "parties" you register to

2018-07-29 01:35:22 UTC

It's self identified in the article so I wouldn't know about official party statistics without looking further.

2018-07-29 01:35:39 UTC

That's probably where they got the numbers

2018-07-29 01:36:19 UTC

I'd say it's 45% R, 45% D, and 10% self-claimed 'Independent' or 'other'

2018-07-29 01:37:13 UTC

"Last year, in addition to the 29% of Americans who identified as Democrats, another 16% said they were independents but leaned toward the Democratic Party, for a combined total of 45% Democrats and Democratic leaners among the U.S. population. Likewise, 26% of Americans identified as Republicans and an additional 16% identified as independents but leaned toward the Republican Party, for a combined total of 42% Republicans and Republican leaners."

2018-07-29 01:37:18 UTC

So not far off.

2018-07-29 01:37:33 UTC

Yep, sounds about right

2018-07-29 01:38:18 UTC

It's two years old though so I bet a lot has changed since the article was written.

2018-07-29 01:38:29 UTC

Even before the election.

2018-07-29 01:38:36 UTC

A lot more Rs now lol

2018-07-29 01:39:34 UTC

I don't think so.

2018-07-29 01:39:53 UTC

I actually changed parties just to vote for Trump.

2018-07-29 01:40:00 UTC

I think a lot more people will vote republican because of how left the Democratic party is.

2018-07-29 01:40:02 UTC

In the primaries.

2018-07-29 01:40:14 UTC

@Shurik That's what I said

2018-07-29 01:40:48 UTC

Like I'm definitely not a republican but I'm going to vote republican

2018-07-29 01:41:24 UTC

The current political climtate reminds me of when the republicans were super evangelocon and the dems were a tent party. How that seems to have reversed. Dems are becoming socialistlib and republicans are becomming tent party of centrists and right of them.

2018-07-29 01:41:46 UTC

I mean it's the usual pendulum swing.

2018-07-29 01:42:15 UTC

Sometimes it swings so far that the one-trick pony party collapse and a new one emerges

2018-07-29 01:42:46 UTC

Like Whigs, and Federalists and those other ones

2018-07-29 01:43:23 UTC

Can we help fasten the collapse of the socialists tho? Like can I press a to skip their cutscene.

2018-07-29 01:43:31 UTC

Nope

2018-07-29 01:43:38 UTC

No, it's an interactive scene

2018-07-29 01:43:49 UTC

Another 6 years of trump

2018-07-29 01:44:05 UTC

That's probably the o ly way we can speed it up

2018-07-29 01:44:13 UTC

Unless the recession hits next year, and it's all blamed on Trumps tariffs

2018-07-29 01:44:18 UTC

^

2018-07-29 01:44:24 UTC

And it would make sense

2018-07-29 01:44:34 UTC

Depression will come out of the chinese housing bubble collapse.

2018-07-29 01:44:49 UTC

@Fredrickbismark There's a much bigger bubble, dude

2018-07-29 01:44:51 UTC

I am not looking forward to that one.
