thats it?
Well, look at the Top Gear episode where the gang drive through Alabama
People naturally fear those who are different, especially when there's religion involved
I can guarantee you though, talking about being gay does make people uncomfortable.
Military is alright with gay people. Just don't be effeminate
What does "effeminate" mean? Feminine?
Yea.
Twinks and the like in the gay community.
@Maw I don't tell anyone I'm gay unless I know them pretty well, none of my co-workers know
It should be, and likely will be.
there is massive homoeroticism in the military though
You'd be dumb to tell your battalion you're gay.
at least from what ive heard
wat
Gay men are generally more effeminate that I won't deny, it's probably to do with the way horomones affect your end sexual preference
If they don't know you're gay, you're doing it right and they won't mind
I... don't think horomones have changed for me.
I have a higher pitch voice than you would expect from looking at me, but I'm not obvious
I don't want trans people in transition and in HRT in the military. You know if you've talked to HRT patients that the majority of the time they're mentally unstable. It's not the same when you just like dudes.
trans people in teh army were actually getting SRS paid for by the army
then leaving
Yeah, from my experience, the military will never accept trannies
a massive percentage were doing that
HRT is really brutal on your mental stability.
Then just let them fail the psych evaluation and the minority of trans who aren't batshit might prove useful @Maw
It's completely changing your horomones, it causes massive mood-swings.
Just think PMS, but to more extreme levels.
Hell, my shop almost went on strike when we found out a civilian on base had HIV
welll women have a cycle of estrogens
trans people its sort of flat
Not all trans people have transitioned though, some simply crossdress
reminder: women want to fuck the alpha when they are ovulating and keep the beta around when they aren't
That's the problem with grouping all these people in one category.
It used to be transsexual and transgender.
Transsexual died out as a term.
They were different for a reason.
I think trans people should be required to note their birth sex alongside their gender identity especially in the military for medical reasons
Because they believed gender !== sex.
Or.... don't allow trans in the military
most just want to be the other though
