Not really, if i would like to use that phrasing it would be something along. "Ends happen by some means, likely it will not be pretty but then you are there and you must take the ends."

Problem i think is that a lot of people are from large nations who are in positions of power and fail to see that small and weaker nations need to wade through shit to even be able to stand on global scale.

That IS the point, Taxes to form unified government which takes care of its own is self-reliance on national scale. You form society which allows people to grow as far as they can or want to go.

If you do not want to bear the communal burdens of your country you are free to move to some other nation to do as you please.

And some people fail from multidute of reasons, and getting them back to action is paramount to health of society. Some WILL get lost to social welfare but ALL SYSTEMS will be exploited by some people.

If you push them to be too strict then they systems fail to provide their benefits to society as whole.

Seems like a lot of people from US want to adopt the system, but that IS a debate you can have in peace. And i am certain people from US would NEVER comment on internal affairs of other countries.
