and yeah, no. I know people who works at unionized supermarkets, and ones that worked in non-union ones
along with massive administration costs from having to deal with hundreds of insurance companies constantly
and the insurance companies are also looking for a profit motive rather than a helping the customer/citizen motive so they will charge as much as they can and cover as little as they can
I said im not for our system. I just dont want your shit system either
the difference is staggering
@franti the bankruptcy is a myth. At very least before obamacare. We used to have great insurance and what was called catestrophic insurance for pennies.
you know you could just have both private and public insurance <:thronk:441701565607444482>
it's massively overblown
They do that in canada and it doesnt work well
@franti and also wrong most insurance operates as non profit or not for profit limiting profit to 3% or less
well, you can't because the supplies in question are regulated
same with medication
you can't exactly treat yourself
so you're forced to be a customer
so much for voting with your wallet
@Ruggwain we had that perfectly fine pre obamacare both operated cheaply
@Ruggwain you know you could just not commit war crimes
Compare car repairs
says the Amerimutt
Which is why your seeing a rise in free market clinics
Every state ran their own. And private was left alone
@Goblin_Slayer_Floki the numbers aren't actually from 2010, they're from 2016
which makes it even more sad
in comparison

@Ruggwain says the genocide commiter
if you have an ear infection that's leaking pus , you can't get antibiotics that you know would help , for instance
@Goblin_Slayer_Floki "bankruptcy is a myth?"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
even though, if you go to a doctor, they won't do tests
never forget the armenian genocide
they'll give you the same pills
american insurance rates were still expensive pre affordable care act
and charge you 300 bucks for a visit
I'm pointing out
healthcare is a captive market
you can't vote with your wallet
Wrong
