Why die for anything

2018-09-19 01:57:35 UTC

@Deleted User I'd die for humanity

2018-09-19 01:57:37 UTC

If it is all arbitrary

2018-09-19 01:57:47 UTC

Why

2018-09-19 01:57:47 UTC

Loyalty to species above all else

2018-09-19 01:57:52 UTC

@M4Gunner blocked posts auto-delete for me

2018-09-19 01:57:53 UTC

We have no fucking right to forget all the people who have been slaughtered and destroyed by religions opposition to human progress and development. No right to forget it kept people enslaved and fucking illiterate for generation after generation, dependant upon religious elites.

2018-09-19 01:58:02 UTC

@M4Gunner Sorry for the late note, but yeah. If someone takes JBP's thoughts on religion too seriously they fall into Gnosticism, which is literally heresy

2018-09-19 01:58:14 UTC

@banestrum a 5th column is a subversive group looking to fuck over he rest of society

2018-09-19 01:58:20 UTC

@Roarey That's the same logic Black supremacists use for reparations

2018-09-19 01:58:26 UTC

@M4Gunner Once morals are subjective the only logical path is to a Nihilistic outlook

2018-09-19 01:58:28 UTC

He doesn't say anything of worth anyway why would I check his posts?

2018-09-19 01:58:39 UTC

@Deleted User Exactly, they're not subverting anything, that is their established order and society.

2018-09-19 01:58:59 UTC

To have what we have now, the education we have now, and to give the credit for it to a fucking bronze age book is an absolute joke. And that is the one thing about Jordan Peterson that pisses me the everloving fuck off.

2018-09-19 01:59:01 UTC

Muh holy book

2018-09-19 01:59:04 UTC

People have been slaughtered throughout society not just by the religious

2018-09-19 01:59:11 UTC

@radeon exactly

2018-09-19 01:59:18 UTC

China

2018-09-19 01:59:21 UTC

Russia

2018-09-19 01:59:24 UTC

@Roarey That's just like.... your opinion man. And it's wrong.

2018-09-19 01:59:35 UTC

It's historical reality

2018-09-19 01:59:40 UTC

Ehh, not really

2018-09-19 01:59:43 UTC

Historical morality

2018-09-19 01:59:46 UTC

Yes. Really.

2018-09-19 01:59:48 UTC

no thank you

2018-09-19 02:00:00 UTC

You've twisted quite a bit of factual history to make your claim

2018-09-19 02:00:17 UTC

confucianism has killed way more people and it is secular in a sense

2018-09-19 02:00:36 UTC

It also stunted the growth of china

2018-09-19 02:00:40 UTC

Buddhists have their own militant group

2018-09-19 02:00:56 UTC

@Fitzydog but they remove Muslims tho <:pepe_smug:378719408341909506>

2018-09-19 02:01:02 UTC

lol

2018-09-19 02:01:27 UTC

confucianism is not a religion per say

2018-09-19 02:02:04 UTC

It is also unique

2018-09-19 02:02:22 UTC

No, I've stated a simple fact. The religious scriptures have barely changed at all, yet western civilisation has. How? If the bible is the gateway to the perfect, absolute morality, then why has it changed? There is NOTHING in Christianity from its inception which resembles our modern moral values. Society has progressed despite religious texts, not via them. Which is why the texts instruct people to do things that today we consider to be evil.

2018-09-19 02:02:49 UTC

@Roarey I never said the bible is a gateway to the perfect morality.

2018-09-19 02:03:16 UTC

At least most of the chink faiths haven't repeatedly and consistently committed unspeakable atrocities since it's very inception and stopped only by being de-fanged by secularism and democracy <:think_madpepe:378717098630971395>

2018-09-19 02:03:25 UTC

They litterally have

2018-09-19 02:03:39 UTC

And they are secular

2018-09-19 02:03:39 UTC

If morality was transcendent then it would transcend time and place and we objectively know that it does not. Ergo, people produce morals, not God.

2018-09-19 02:03:52 UTC

Islam today is an excellent example of what Christianity was like before the enlightenment

2018-09-19 02:04:12 UTC

Uhhhhhh
