I can't wait for my generation to die, TBH.
We dropped the ball. There is no question about it.
Part of it was our apathy and our Zen like complacency, like a bunch of Hindu cows.
We watched as our rights slipped away.
Now we shout `MAN UP!` at the next generation to carry the burden we saddled them with.
It's kind of pathetic.
Just don't suck as much as we did, kids.
who are you calling a kid old man?
The actual kids here lol
Joke's on you - I never grew up.
lel
So what you're saying is you're a boomer?
I think I'm close.
Actually not quite.
But I can see some of the Boomer qualities in my generation.
I have some hopes for Gen Z.
I'm Polish so none of these classifications actually apply to me... Different demographic, economic and cultural circumstances...
They are as much cancer politically as Millennials, right now, but as they get older, they tend to get less lefty.
You Polish also have your generational divide.
but they're not the same
Right.
I'd say many of the Polish who now have kids still understand shortage a lot better than Americans.
Americans of the same generation.
80-90s kids in Polan are rly tough, self made men kind of punks
At least they don't all swallow the lefty shit.
I appreciate that about Poles.
cause they grew up with rampant, deregulated capitalism
Germans actually tend to be more cancer.
Ah, yes, Capitalism is what hurt Poland.
Sure.
😂
Germans are a nation of zealots - whatever idea the authority figure preaches they are going to follow to the "t" and never hesitate about calling you literally evil if you oppose it...
I never said capitalism hurt polan
Yes, but I think Europeans tend to be more conformist.
Germans take the cake, though.
It's fucking stupid how conforming they are at times.
They will wait at a red traffic light for hours, even with zero cars going.
Polaks are rather rowdy... We don't rly like authority very much...
It's just a small example, but it does showcase a more general pattern.
