There are people who are objectively more competent than you are at everything

Some people can DO things better than you

or even have "better" morals

Like I think competent is better then using better to define someone who’s “better”

Competence hierarchies founded on merit aren’t bad but they also allow disproportionate amount of representation (a observation but I don’t take the left leaning stance on it since it leads into quotas or the whole thing with affirmative action)
