I dont exactly think you understand how many trees are here or how dense the forests are... you could walk 1-2 miles into the bush from this here city get lost and possibly die.

here in northern bc its all pretty much dense forests.
then for basically 1/3rd of the year all of its covered in 4-6 feet of snow.
