That sounds like a relative term

2019-08-19 16:12:06 UTC

>institutional racism

2019-08-19 16:12:15 UTC

it's racist to lock up black criminals

Black on Black crime. Is no longer a crime.

That'll more than half it

2019-08-19 16:15:04 UTC

to be fair black on black crime is a problem solving itself

Leave the killers out there longer

just as long as they only kill other gang bangers

2019-08-19 16:17:21 UTC

go further, organize Arenas for the gangs

2019-08-19 16:18:25 UTC

There cant be any crime without criminals

2019-08-19 17:10:51 UTC

I'm gonna take a guess and assume a decent portion of that is directly connected to the rising value of housing.

2019-08-19 17:14:29 UTC

Yes

2019-08-19 17:14:39 UTC

Good guess

2019-08-19 17:14:58 UTC

We never really had a property crash in 08

2019-08-19 17:15:47 UTC

I mean, we sorta kinda did to some extent, but pretty sure it almost entirely effected property held by banks rather than actual people.

2019-08-19 17:16:40 UTC

I'm talking about here, being australia

2019-08-19 17:16:52 UTC

I mean, really, in the end, it's fairly stupid to use property value as a proxy for overall wealth in any sort of situation where you're living on said property anyway.

2019-08-19 17:17:07 UTC

Ah, fair enough.

2019-08-19 17:17:49 UTC

There are people that can barely afford food and property taxes that are wealthy on paper because the house the family has owned since 1920 is theoretically valuable.

2019-08-19 17:20:10 UTC

people should have their houses torn down

2019-08-19 17:20:19 UTC

so everyone could be the same

2019-08-19 17:20:20 UTC

...man, I thought housing prices were bad here.

2019-08-19 17:20:25 UTC

that would eliminate the wealth gap

2019-08-19 17:20:37 UTC

That's just painful. How much of that is due to Chinese investors buying up property?

2019-08-19 17:20:55 UTC

I've heard here and there that they're buying a lot of land in some of those places.

2019-08-19 17:22:02 UTC

Not as much as you'd think imo, but more due to taking in loads of migrants, not developing new areas, banks being fags, and boomers who see it as free money to buy houses

2019-08-19 17:22:33 UTC

Mm. Mostly the same as in the US, then. A lot of the increase is population increasing way faster than new housing is being built.

2019-08-19 17:25:28 UTC

Boomers are the worst :(

2019-08-19 17:34:07 UTC

i mean older people also have made money for longer and bought more valuable things over time

Milennials are pure filth
