the 4th gen carries my kid better, though

very family friendly, looks nice enough to not embarrass the inlaws

The 5th gens are still 4runners though. Compared to some other long standing brands, its not a bad transition to modernity

I just want something that's durable, reliable, can handle just about everything reasonable with like a 3 inch lift, yet looks respectable.

As time went on, white identity in CA started looking more and more Mexican. Most of the white style in CA is a reaction to Mexican machismo
