the yellow come from pollen they drag across it

and the brown is indeed related to larvae poo

they seal it inside the cells before hatching

but I wouldnt harvest honey from brood frames

brush the bees off the frames and take em with me, then put em into an extractor

then filter and fill into buckets, put buckets in cellar
