Someone should tell them that the fucking point is to move the bulls from their temporary house to the bullring and that running with the bulls is dangerous because of the high pace and the inherent danger due to their massive size, horns and overall violence.

The farms (different one for every day of the festivities) treat their bulls basically how you'd treat a pro athlete: they have a diet, they train (they make them run over half-mile around 8-9 times a day) and they get some non-lethal bullring action when young so they aren't weirded out by the crowd.

@OORA - My dad has been to Pamplona twice during the festivities, never run (too fat).
He says that the whole city goes partying for like a week. They receive around 1,4 million visitors in total during the 9 days while the actual residents are only 200k.
He says that streets are full of people all day long except for around noon, that's when tourists and partygoers go to sleep.
