But the truth is, Poe's Law has us stumped, and there is no way to know.

2019-05-07 17:25:58 UTC

@ebowden i think he wants his nightmares to come true, that way he can say "i told you so"

2019-05-07 17:26:23 UTC

@Largezo112 I think that's the most likely of all 3.

2019-05-07 17:26:40 UTC

which is rather petty if you ask me

2019-05-07 17:26:41 UTC

But, there is no way to know.

2019-05-07 17:26:50 UTC

He may be genuine.

2019-05-07 17:27:25 UTC

There is no point. The only interesting discussion to be had is around Poes law, not anything you've actually said.

2019-05-07 17:27:42 UTC

well i just made one. According to demographics SDP and Greens would win every single election because the elderly want benefits and the youth is overwhelmingly left

2019-05-07 17:27:50 UTC

yet, that did not happen

2019-05-07 17:29:03 UTC

The sharply rising blue line is the finns party. Keep in mind that 2017 they split in two because their cucks wanted to stay in government. 0 of the defectors got re-elected. 0!

2019-05-07 17:29:26 UTC

If the essence of being right wing was just the absurd caricature of far leftists, sure.

2019-05-07 17:29:43 UTC

according to thomas that would be impossible because of demographics

2019-05-07 17:29:52 UTC

If being right wing is ONLY about throwing gays of buildings and other such things, sure.

2019-05-07 17:30:11 UTC

OH MAH GUD

2019-05-07 17:30:29 UTC

THE FAGS ARE AT IT AGAIN

2019-05-07 17:31:00 UTC
2019-05-07 17:31:05 UTC

WE CAN TOLERATE NOT ONE FAGGOT GETTING HIS FILTHY FAGGOTY HANDS NEAR US, OR ALL IS LOST!

2019-05-07 17:31:16 UTC

i think you are just traumatized by 2 terms of bushes

2019-05-07 17:31:29 UTC

those guys are not conservative

2019-05-07 17:31:33 UTC

@ebowden calm down

2019-05-07 17:32:10 UTC

The actual debate is long over, this is my fun time.

2019-05-07 17:33:08 UTC

No, I countered them, AND called you a moron.

2019-05-07 17:33:19 UTC

It is possible to do both.

2019-05-07 17:33:28 UTC

Doing one does not erase the other.

2019-05-07 17:33:57 UTC

Oh, not today, no.

2019-05-07 17:34:19 UTC

@Deleted User I think you have a point saying that the right will "water down" if they keep chasing the center. They shouldn't do it. The problem with your analysis is that it doesn't take into account the polarization of society and just how far left the left has gone. They've trapped themselves in a vicious ideological cycle from which they cannot escape. Even the average "centrist atheist" will find their (lack of) values reprehensible

2019-05-07 17:34:22 UTC

I realised that there was no point in doing so, but before I realised that I did bother.

2019-05-07 17:34:57 UTC

they've overplayed their hand with AOC and others like her

2019-05-07 17:35:49 UTC

@Deleted User I mentioned the multitude of surveys done before the reputable Pew and others started putting out contrary information.

2019-05-07 17:36:29 UTC

(Just as people were getting worried. <:Thoughts:408715607555702784> )

2019-05-07 17:36:31 UTC

Lol

2019-05-07 17:37:05 UTC

Well, no need for me to say anything then.

2019-05-07 17:37:26 UTC

@Largezo112 Just remember, Pew is seldom wrong.

2019-05-07 17:38:25 UTC

Yes, I bet they care more about the constitution than stoning gays.

2019-05-07 17:38:30 UTC

THE HORROR

2019-05-07 17:38:42 UTC

Yeah, no.

2019-05-07 17:38:59 UTC

Gen Z has plenty of shit that doesn't line up with Biden.

2019-05-07 17:39:07 UTC

lol

2019-05-07 17:40:12 UTC

@Largezo112 See? We have Tom to tell us who can rely on!

2019-05-07 17:42:59 UTC

Pew even predicted the results of the 2016 election after it happened.

2019-05-07 17:44:55 UTC

the 2016 election was supposed to be Hillary's because of demographics. That didn't happen. Now one can interpret the results in two ways: 1. It was the last bitter cry for help from the boomers who'll soon be dead or 2. The start of a new political era in which people if not become at least will vote more conservatively. Why do i think that is the case? Because during the past 10 years our situation and future prospects have deteriorated all across the western world. Europe was ran over by migrants, there have been dozens of terrorist attacks, a prolonged economic crisis and the loss of jobs to China and other asian countries. Authorities in western europe have grown more and more totalitarian. The middle east is a powder keg as always and the rise of China means that the far-east will become one as well. The media tells the average guy to shut up and accept the irrevocable loss of his culture, faith, traditions and habits as the new normal while arguing freedom of speech only for themselves. Because we clearly live in uncertain and troubled times people will vote for 1. strong leader 2. change. Obama, Merkel, Macron and other leftists have only perpetrated the status quo. In short, people have seen what has happened and correctly deduced that their political elite is the main culprit of that and want to vote them out. Is that a good argument?
