Just a few months ago, you couldn't criticize Ilhan Omar without being called a racist, fascist, Islamophobe, etc., even on the left. She was untouchable. Now it appears she's about to be thrown under the bus. I wonder what happened? What force could have such outsize influence that it changes a promising politician's fortunes so quickly? She must have offended some extremely powerful and influential people, but I'm kinda dumb, I don't notice things, so I can't figure it out.
