I'm not really into small dogs. I want a dog that will be excited when I come home. I really like dalmatians, but they might be too large to have in an apartment.

Get a dachshund they're small but not annoying like Chihuahuas and were bred to hunt badgers which are like twice their size

I walk my dogs everyday and they still are hyper plus being in an apartment is not a good idea for a big you need a yard for that

It all depends on the dog. If there's a dog park near by then you can bypass the need for a real yard. Like I said though it's just more work for you
