yeah
I'm also often on my comp a lot more
since school works
so I see him talking here a lot
see him in the church chat every sunday
that's good. He just needs to understand why there are moderators and what kind of spiritual attack people on Jesse's side are facing.
I can talk to him
talk away, but this isn't between me and him, this is between me and my duty.
🙏
I get that

"Are you familiar with Akham's Razor?"
It's Occam's and your interpretation of it was so off

You said "you don't believe in god either though
you just know
I didn't suddenly make a decision to believe, I always knew"
But there's believing *that* and believing *in*
You don't need to believe *that* God exists, because He's proven His existence plenty, I agree, you can just *know*
But you gotta believe *in* Him, like you trust a parachute before you jump, it's not a blind leap of faith because you do have evidence before trusting God, but faith nonetheless
@Jump'n'shootman Oh, yes you're absolutely right
that's what I was more getting at is that I already knew, it was a truth inside since childhood for me, without scripture knowledge, without much experience in going to church even that I knew
Believing *in* him like you said is knowing that he will take care of me, my future family, and life
I like your style of going against the grain
But wanna know something funny?
You say you don't believe the Bible 100%, but maybe because it's been said over and over that it's the Word of God; however, it's not but a fraction of people who actually perform honest exegesis of the text, 99.999% of preachers get one or more major things wrong. So if you believe God reveals things to you, I'd tell you try out reading it and ask God if it's really His revealed Word to humans
The problem I see honest people have with the Bible is because it messes up with their love of their own sins
Some harsh truth and standards to live by, but also liberating, cause the truth does set you free
@Jump'n'shootman spelling is a social construct. And I was pointing to the idea that the simplest solution is oftentimes the true one.
<:PepeTux:494352827611611148>
yes, it is a social construct, is why you gotta do it right if you want to be understood properly
making foolish excuse for your mistakes
It mattern't
(That means it doesn't matter)
The point was still understood
yes, now go out and experience your theory calling a chair table, see how far you'll go
I believe it would be the equivalent to calling a chair a stool
yes, I do know linguistics, the message conveyed is more important than the vessel used, but yet, instead of learning you just give some foolish excuse
Case dismissed. Bring in the dancing lobsters
right, Chomsky claps for you
Now now now
Just remember
I am a male
Ha.
I wish there was a dab emote
right
anything else?
cause you sound like a beta to me
which makes you equivalent to me
so dab on that
So lemme get this straight:
