I think Yara is my favorite game of thrones character.

I saw that... It's sad when tragedies happen to historical landmarks

the structural integrity of the church was saved (probably)

the spire collapsed, but both towers are 'safe'

the roof is a total loss, but apparently is already pledged to be rebuilt

right now the big worry is the holy relics that were stored in the church

all that melting lead probably caused a bunch of secondary damage

that wood was original install from the 12th century 😦

I can imagine perhaps something more impressive coming out of the reworkings though, with the crowdfunding and stuff. So we can hope for that. And maybe people will learn from it and do more to try and protect older buildings
