Yep, similar relationship with my brother actually

2019-05-01 01:34:50 UTC

I have an estranged friend, we've each made attempts to rebuild the bridge and been rejected over the years.

He's just so toxic. I wish I could help him.

2019-05-01 01:37:05 UTC

I’ve tried as well. Really to no avail. Based on what I heard, he’s not doing terrible in any event

2019-05-01 01:37:53 UTC

I really don't know anything about how my brother is doing right now. But he doesn't have any skills and quits jobs so probably not great.

2019-05-01 01:38:16 UTC

How so, if you don't mind me asking? @Uberduperdrew

2019-05-01 01:38:25 UTC

Sorry to drop in

2019-05-01 01:38:28 UTC

My brother is indecisive as well.

2019-05-01 01:38:35 UTC

Which part JD?

2019-05-01 01:38:47 UTC

How is he toxic?

2019-05-01 01:41:37 UTC

Let me give you an example. I once tried to help him get money form the state. One of those unclaimed property things. I didn't have a printer so I had to email the forms to FedEx office to print out, get them, meet up with him and mail them in for him..

Well about a week after I started the process , he starts text curing at me for.takig so long. Insists I am playing games with him because he saw my car drive by him (I was a full time Uber driver)

2019-05-01 01:43:38 UTC

I explained I was heading somewhere but would stop by after that but he keeps insisting I'm playing games with him. Then he starts threatening me. So I go to the place where he claims to be living to confront him (oh you're going to kick my ass? Fine be right there). And he never comes out and starts texting me again talking trash..

2019-05-01 01:43:47 UTC

Had to block his number.

2019-05-01 01:44:08 UTC

Shit, that’s terrible

2019-05-01 01:44:12 UTC

And he's a real piece of work. Has been abusing to several women and gotten some of them fired.

2019-05-01 01:44:13 UTC

That's terrible. I'm so sorry.

2019-05-01 01:44:25 UTC

Sorry to hear it Drew.

2019-05-01 01:44:28 UTC

He definitely is the "bite the hand that feeds him" type.

2019-05-01 02:05:52 UTC

So... what kind of ice cream are you a fan of @Uberduperdrew ?

2019-05-01 02:13:18 UTC

Sorry.

2019-05-01 02:15:29 UTC

99 flake or the creme egg mcflurry/ice cream lolly are nice

2019-05-01 02:15:50 UTC

Thats sounds really good.

2019-05-01 02:15:58 UTC

I always liked cookie dough myself

2019-05-01 10:59:22 UTC

I quite like choc mint, but I keep away from Chocolate now as its addictive and (I hear) fairly high in lead content.

2019-05-01 11:06:22 UTC

Wait what, chocolate ice cream contains lead? 0_o

2019-05-01 11:06:49 UTC

I'm not a particular fan of chocolate ice cream anyway but ehh, isn't something like that illegal

2019-05-01 11:08:11 UTC

chocolate naturally contains a higher than average amount of lead as a natural process

2019-05-01 11:08:33 UTC

but if not handled properly it can be a health concern

2019-05-01 11:09:11 UTC

Mmm

2019-05-01 11:09:17 UTC

The FDA says dark chocolate has higher amounts compared to milk chocolate

2019-05-01 11:09:26 UTC

What exactly constitutes improper handling though

2019-05-01 11:09:41 UTC

Excessive consumption? Sorry if it says in the link

2019-05-01 11:10:13 UTC

well the 'settlement' is just an agreement to do a thorough study of WHY chocolate has a high lead content

2019-05-01 11:10:24 UTC

and its possible health effects and potential ways to mitigate the levels

2019-05-01 11:10:30 UTC

so... work in progress

2019-05-01 11:10:42 UTC

its not a new development, chocolate has ALWAYS been this way

2019-05-01 11:10:59 UTC

so its not like there are sudden cases of lead poisoning popping up because of excessive chocolate consumption

2019-05-01 11:17:14 UTC

Yea tbh, it does seem like a fuss being kicked up about what is largely nothing

2019-05-01 11:22:47 UTC

eating excessive amounts of dark chocolate has more severe health concerns than lead poisoning, so I suppose its always been too secondary to matter
